The Sims 2 Open for Business expansion pack adds tons of new features to your original Sims 2 game. This expansion pack comes with a whole new business community where your Sims can open their own businesses. You can buy a pre-designed store or you can design your own. You can sell almost anything, style other Sims’ hair, or be a chef in your own restaurant. In your business, you can train employees, promote them, fire them, and even hire assistant managers so you can own many different businesses.
There are also new “stations” where your Sims can develop their talents by making toys, flower arrangements, or robots. Kids can even have their own business: a lemonade stand. There are a lot of new items like the salon chair, the elevator, shelving, and cash registers for your business. There are also many new outfits so your employees can dress appropriately for the job, even as crazy mascots!
I really enjoy this expansion pack. I especially love the stations where your Sims can make toys, etc. I really like that you can have a business at your Sim’s actual house so you don’t have to constantly wait to travel back and forth between your house and the business community.
