Electrolux EL1000A2 Pronto Bagless Stick Cyclonic Vacuum

I bought this to vacuum a hard surface floor, kitchen vinyl. It does pick up cat hair very well and it is pleasant not to have to deal with a cord. However, the receptacle is too small. Also, being bagless is not a benefit as I have to use a paper towel to clean the compartment. It does cat hair quite well. The really big fault, however, is the corrugated hose. You've seen them on vacuums- they are circular hoses. NOT ON THIS VACUUM. On this equipment the hose is FLATTENED, insuring that even tiny chunks like kitty-food pellets will clog the hose. You will find yourself with screwdriver in hand to clean out the cord. It's other faults are minor and it would perform well if used for small kitchen jobs, but the flat-designed hose really impedes its performance.
