Eddie Murphy was the Michael Jackson of comedy in the 80's.he was unstoppable on this performance.he took it to the stage&gave the people there moneys worth times two.his take on singers alone broke so much ground.he did it so well&strong.he graduated from Saturday night live and presented a more raw in your face take that was embraced by many who saw or were at the performance.this video tape inspired many folks i know to try to emulate the performance or take lines from it for laughs.there hasn't been a comedian since that has had the kind of impact that he had during his 80's run.the ice cream man was so funny non stop laughs.he just would say things that had you rolling on the floor laughing out loud.he really struck a chord with his straight talk.he has had other moments on his first set&raw but nothing holds your attention all the way like this set does.he set the stakes really high&it hasn't been touched since.
