Eddie What's the Matter? "Aunt Bunny's Comin to Get Me"

Eddie Murphy's first stand-up comedy. In the series of 2, this is by far the better one. In his early 20's Murphy stood in front of a huge audience and spouted off jokes about every ethnicity possible. Perhaps people now wouldn't think this video as being as funny as it was 20 years ago but I will assure you one thing, you will be laughing until it makes you hurt.

The movie doesn't target any particular ethnicity.. matter of fact, it pretty much takes a shot at a lot of the major ones, black, white, korean. This overall commentary by Eddie gives no one a "one up" on the other and so no one is more offended that the other. If you're into comedy such as Richard Pryor, you'll love delirious.

I think that Murphy does a great job impersonating the characters in his stand-up. He really makes you believe that he is the character that he is trying to play. I'll tell you one thing, every celebrity he mimic sounds so on the dot that when you hear the actual celebrity somewhere, you'll be surprised that Murphy could imitate them so well.

I first saw this movie when I was 16 and I couldn't help but fall on the ground and laugh at it. Every part of it made me just keel over with laughter. Perhaps I didn't take some of the material as offensive as others but I do believe that everyone has to have an open mind on certain things and realize that no particular group is being made fun of more than the other. Sometimes people get caught up with being politically correct, well.. I think that we need to lighten up a little and enjoy the comedy that Eddie Murphy brought to use nearly 20 years ago.
