Eddie Bauer delux latte booster seat

When I first went looking for a new car seat for my son. I was not looking to spend a fortune. But this was one of those things that I saw and just knew that it was the one that I wanted. Of course I had priced other ones. I had also checked out every feature on all of them. Not only did this one seem to suit my son's needs and mine, but it also looks great. It caught my eye and not too many things are like that for me.

Description:

The whole thing is a thick latte colored trim, with creamy white colored middle on both the car seat it's self and the head rest. The arm rests and base are black in color. They are plastic, but sturdy. It is not made cheaply at all. The harness and buckle are silver and black in colorings. It has a really cool slide out cup holder right in side of the base! This is some thing I had never seen before as his old one had them on the arm rests.

The reason why you pay so much for a car seat like this one is because it lasts a long time. With my son's old one it went up to 44 pounds, but it broke long before her got to that point. In fact he is only 19 months old so he still is not at that point. Anyhow, this car seat goes all the way from 22 pounds to 100 pounds! This will be the only car seat you will need from the point you buy it, until your child is ready to sit in a seat belt independently.

Some of the features:

This seat grows with your baby. You can easily and fully adjust the size accordingly to how you need it for your child. It has an easy to use five point harness with a up front adjuster! This car seat has  an EPP foam head rest . It also has a two piece push button harness retainer to position harness to child's chest. It has a 3 position reclining system for the child's comfort.

The Eddie Bauer deluxe latte booster seat features a deluxe over stuffed seat padding. It has pivoting arm rests with rubberized over lay. Then there is the fact that it is latch equipped. It is 20"w x 19.5"D x 28"H in sizes. It is recommended that for 22 to 40 pounds you use it forward, and for 40-100 pounds you use it with the belt positioning booster.

Washing:

The cover comes off completely. You pull the loops over the plastic that holds the covering on. Take the covering off and wash it. It is machine washable. Then when it is completed you put it back on. It is very simple and so far nothing has faded or torn. I use Dreft baby laundry soap on it and it seems to do wonders if things get spilled in the car seat.

Price and where to buy it:

I bought the Eddie Bauer deluxe latte booster seat from the Babies R Us store. It is located here in Rhode Island. I had never seen this seat any where else around here so I have no prices to compare the one I paid to. But I paid $169.99 for it there. Yes, the price is much higher then a booster seat you may find in a Walmart or some thing. But a Walmart car seat is not likely to last you as long as this one will, or hold the weight that it holds and so on.

The experience recommendation, and my thoughts:

The Eddie Bauer deluxe latte booster seat looks great in the car. It is great for a boy or grl by the way. I forgot to mention that above. Just I figured I would add that in here. My son loves his new seat. He has been using it for a few months now and it has done great for him. He is much more comfortable in this seat. He fits better in to the Eddie Bauer car seat too. The best part is the naps. I can recline the seat so that if we re going on a longer ride then normal, my son can take his nap in the car. This works great, he falls right to sleep and there is no slouching over like there was with his old seat.

This seat is easy to take care of, it works incredible looks good and is easy to use. You can't beat it. I highly recommend the Eddie Bauer deluxe latte booster seat. It is one of the best purchases that I have ever made for my son. It is a safe car seat, it's got great features, suits my son's needs and my own. Again, I highly recommend this car seat.
