Kodak EasyShare one: great features...horrible pictures

The Bottom Line: Stay away. For the price, you can find something so much easier to use that will take much better pictures.
I feel it is my duty after owning this camera for less than 1 month to let others know how horrible it is. I was wowed by this camera when I first purchased it at a Circuit City here in Oklahoma City. I was looking for a camera in a hurry and my price range was about $200. This camera was $199 and had some awesome features like: wi-fi, touch screen, swivel screen. After using it for a few days I noticed something awful. It took horrible pictures. I have been an amateur photographer for about 2 years now and have read some books on technique and the like. That said, anyone could see the pictures were substandard. The body of the camera feels solid and it came with a very nice leather case, wi-fi card and charger. But the ability to send pictures to my computer ended up taking longer than just hooking a cable up. I was able to return this and now have a Canon SD600 which is incredible. The difference in picture quality was apparent immediately. Also, the user interface is not very intuitive . I found myself searching for ways to delete pictures. There was no simple way to just "delete all". Save your time and money and stay away from this camera.
