The magazine's large size adds a nice touch and is a refreshingly different from the other sports magazines.

It's no surprise that ESPN the magazine was modeled in the fashion of Sports Illustrated. Both magazines have been very successful with the layout, and they do capture the attention of readers. Even small features such as the Big 10 give non-sports fans an idea of some of the main stories in the world of sports over the last two weeks, with quite a bit of comic relief.

ESPN the magazine may not offer all the nitty-gritty details that the sports bookies like, but it does have that distinct ESPN combination of interesting and captivating reporting, as well as that unmistakable humor.
