I didn't realize how well this worked until I got a new vacuum

The Bottom Line: It is a lot of work to clean your carpets yourself but if you elect to do so I would recommend this machine.
Review: I have had my steam vac for about a year and a half and it appears that this model has been replaced already with a new one! That said I am sure that the functionality of this vs the newer model are pretty similar.
