Cons:

HRM doesn't work; poor tech support. Software crashes.

I do like the unit but mostly purchased it to keep track of my hear rate. Garmin includes a little piece of paper saying exotic fabrics, when vibrating, can cause the hear rate monitor to not work properly. The paper should have stated "all fabrics can cause the heart rate monitor to give bad readings"! Wearing a 100% cotton shirt, and with the shirt flapping in the wind, was giving way-too-low readings, rendering the unit useless. Software caused my Windows XP box to blue screen. Their technical support seems to ignore e-mails, which is their preferred form of non-communication.
