|
Pros: easy maneuvering, fits in tight places, extreme suction, picks up dog hair, refreshes carpet
Cons: short cord, wand does not detach from wand, canister is messy to empty
The Bottom Line: Works great and gets under furniture easily and does not hurt my back to use.
Review: I go through vacuums like most people go through a pair of jeans. I am a vacuum fiend and go over my floors every other day due to having two dogs that shed. I have another Dyson, but wanted one that could do steps and could get under furniture ...

Pros: Excellent cleaning power. Lightweight, maneuverable, compact. Edges cleans right up to the baseboards.
Cons: Emptying bin is not as mess-free as with other Dysons. Cord could be longer.
The Bottom Line: This vacuum is everything it purports to be. It is as if I never even had a vacuum before. If you are comfortable with the cost, you won't be disapointed.
Review: I never really had any complaints about my old Electrolux canister vacuum, which I got used from my mom several years ago for the cost of repairing it -- $35. In fact I thought my vacuum was actually pretty good. After running it a half dozen times or ...

Pros: Amazing suction - Leaves the room smelling fresh and clean. Best vacuum on the market.
Cons: Wish the owners manual had words instead of pictures
The Bottom Line: This is the Mercedes of vacuums. I absolutely LOVE it and it my kids now LOVE to vacuum - how great is that ?! 2 Thumbs Way Up !
Review: I have heard so much about this vacuum, so I had very high expectations. I was debating whether or not to buy this model or the Ball animal DC 15. I went to a local Sears to actually try them out. Any Dyson vacuum you get, you can't go wrong with - ...

Pros: - The cat hair and dust it pulls up!
- Swivelling head.
Cons: - Didn't come with the mini turbine attachment.
- Price was high.
The Bottom Line: A good buy for those looking for a vacuum to pick up pet hair and dust.
Review: My husband and I were looking for a vacuum to replace our 5 year old Eureka canister and looked at a few different vacuums. The Bissell and Dyson were top on our list. When looking at the reviews we were looking for how well it cleaned up cat hair ...

Pros: Exceptional cleaning power. Easy to use.
Cons: Short power cord. Collection bin could be larger.
The Bottom Line: This machine, while a little expensive, gave us the BEST cleaning experience of our life. Exceptional suction, easy to use, works well in corners.
Review: The Dyson DC21 Canister is absolutely the best carpet sweeping experience I've every had. My wife and I felt our old Kenmore canister was pretty good, but this new Dyson canister shows how little we know. The bagless collection bin was completely ...

Pros: great suction, no bags or filters to purchase, versatile, convenient, good for hard floors
Cons: expensive
The Bottom Line: This is a very versatile convenient vacuum for many types of flooring and upholstery. A great choice for pet owners and those with different types of flooring.
Review: We recently decided to buy our first "real" vacuum. Tired of buying cheapies only to have them break or stop picking up dirt and cat hair (we have 3 cats) after less than a year, we decided to get something better even if it meant a lot more expensive. A ...

Pros: Quiet. No bags! No clumsy filters! Compact.
Cons: Wand is very large in diameter. Canister fills quickly. Expensive
The Bottom Line: No bags, quiet, very flexible hose, this is an excellent vacuum for the home, or in my case, the shop. And it works as advertised!
Review: I have a woodworking shop in our basement. While my dust collector collects the fine dust from each tool, it does not get the dust /shavings from my drill press or lathe or the dust that falls on the floor.I have had shop vacs and while ...

Pros: Compact, Amazing Suction, Super Quiet, Fair Price
Cons: Short Cord, Plasticy Kink-prone Hose, Cryptic Manual
The Bottom Line: Simple: Buy It. It will replace any vac and do a better job.
Review: Excellent power for a reasonable price compared to other vacuums with lesser qualities. I was amazed (yes amazed) what was in the dirt cup (sorry Dyson, I didn't call it the Clear Bin...if that's the Clear Bin, then what is the thing with holes ...

Pros: It has powerful suction and it shoots out clean air from the exhaust.
Cons: None yet.
The Bottom Line: This is the top dog of all vacuums!
Review: And it sucks in a great way! We have an English Mastiff weighing in at 200 pounds and loves to lay out and shed on our floors. Need I say more? I personally like canister vacuums instead of uprights. We had received the Bissell Digital Pro vacuum ...

Pros: Love telescoping handle, grooms the carpet,EZ to clean "bin".
Cons: Love to have bumpers on the side of the power head.
The Bottom Line: No one can touch this machine.
Review: Unbelievable Performance. I, too, saw the Consumer Reports articles and was going to go with their recommendations and get the Electrolux or the Kenmore. Thanks to you all, I found the Electrolux had major wiring issues and the Kenmore, while less ...
