Pros: suction, the ball, amazing performance.
Cons: price, but well worth it.
The Bottom Line: Honestly, for the first time, I have no qualms about a vacuum. It is well worth the money, consider it an investment.
Review: So, after getting so disgusted with my other vacuum, even though it was new, I decided to replace it- it was so awful at not picking up stuff, and it was 3 months old. I knew I had to have a Dyson, after reading all these reviews on them. So, what did ...

Dyson Slim DC18: The iVacuum Makes Cleaning a Breeze, So You Can Breathe with Ease

Pros: No-loss suction, Easy maneuverability, Telescoping Wand/Hose, Permanent HEPA Filter, Hygienic Bin/No Bags, Warranty
Cons: Higher Initial Cost, Some control glitches, Shorter Cord/Smaller Bin
The Bottom Line: Museum honored aesthetics. Childishly-simplistic operation. Hype worthy performance. Breakthrough technology that revolutionized the industry and user experience. The Dyson Slim is the vacuum that Apple would have built.
Review: When researching this vacuum I was looking for a multipurpose performance machine that could handle 5 rooms of carpeting as well as the hardwood/tile mix in the rest of the house. I also needed it to be relatively compact so that it could transition to a ...

Dyson DC18 Vacuum: Slim (And It Makes Vacuuming Fun)!

Pros: continuous suction, "The Ball", telescoping wand handle, accessories store on the vacuum
Cons: still heavier than I'd prefer at 15.8 pounds
The Bottom Line: Dyson delivers with the DC18 Slim! It's smaller than the other upright models but that provides added maneuverability and less weight to drag about.
Review: For me, vacuuming is a chore that I avoid whenever possible. I just don't like to vacuum. I hate how my ten year old Oreck smells like something is burning whenever I use it. I hate how I can never get close enough to the baseboards so I either have to ...

No more suctionless vacuums for me!

Pros: Effective carpet cleaning with bristles, excellent suction, easy to clean filter, stands upright by itself.
Cons: Dirt doesn't always automatically fall out of the trapdoor canister.
The Bottom Line: Great for anyone with carpeted floors. It's pricier, but it's built to last, and its effectiveness and ease of cleaning have made me fall in love with it.
Review: For years, I've lived with mediocre vacuums. My first vacuum wouldn't pick up strings off the carpet. Then my mother took pity on me and gave me her old one, only to tell me months later that she didn't think it was much good either (and she was right). ...

Pros: Lighter, smarter, powerful, convenient, well-built
Cons: I find this machine to be about perfect!
The Bottom Line: In my opinion...the best Dyson EVER!
Review: I am a HUGE Dyson fan and I am an even BIGGER fan of this SMALLER wonder. Dyson really hit the nail on the head with the Slim. There is no dip in power, there is no shortage of convenience, there just aren't any compromises to be made with a ...

Great for hard floors

Pros: maneuverability, suction, hard floor cleaning, small size
Cons: short power cord
The Bottom Line: The ability to EASILY turn the beater brush off and on makes transitioning between hard floors, rugs, and carpets simple, and the suction is superb.
Review: I purchased this vacuum a week ago and have used it three times, so I can't comment on its longevity. But, for the period of time I have used it, I've been thrilled. I had a Dyson about 3 years ago, but when we moved to our new house, which has all wood ...

Pros: Small, compact, relatively lightweight, easy to use, and very, very powerful.
Cons: Cost. Short cord. Could stand to be a bit lighter and quieter.
The Bottom Line: A compact, highly powerful, albeit expensive vacuum, purposefully and thoughtfully designed and built to do what vacuums do best--pick up dirt.
Review: By now Dyson vacuums have solidified their reputation as powerful, highly effective vacuums. And while that reputation is well deserved, it does not come inexpensively. This is my first Dyson vacuum. I purchased it in March 2007, intent upon finding ...

Pros: Easy to use, Easy to clean, Lightweight, Durable
Cons: Cant think of one!
The Bottom Line: This Vacuum is worth the price! It looks good, works good, and clean floors make you feel good! No one looses here!
Review: When the Dyson vacuum line first came out I begged and pleaded for one, my husband was like "$500 for a vacuum?! Have you lost your mind woman!" So I started to research the line and found that the DC18 all floors was the one for me! We have tile and ...

Pros: Strong, consistent suctioning, light and easy to use, cool design, and well worth the money.
Cons: It only comes in Yellow and Purple colors.
The Bottom Line: Simple and easy to use, stylish, strong suction, and reasonably priced! You'll love it!
Review: Ok, let's just get right down to it! My wife and I have had several vacuums in the past. All Hepa related, environmentally safe, blah-blah-blah. But one of the biggest issue's we've had, was cleaning the vacuum itself. NIGHTMARE! I'll get into how ...

Pros: Small size and light weight with good suction and ease of use.
Cons: No useful written documentation, pictures only.
The Bottom Line: Light in weight and smaller in size that it's big brothers, this Dyson works well and makes vacuuming almost fun!
Review: When our old Eureka vacuum gave out, I did some research and boiled our choice down to the Electrolux EL 7055A Twin Clean and the Dyson DC18. The Electrolux looks and sounds like a real winner, with power and HEPA self cleaning features. I never used a ...
