Awesome Vacuum

I just bought this Dyson and on the first night I vacuumed like normal using my old vacuum (Dirt Devil Platinum Force with HEPA filter) then I used the Dyson. I was amazed about the amount of dirt the Dyson vacuum managed to pick up.
The Dyson is a bit heavy but using it is a breeze, I swear it seems to be self-propelled because my old vacuum was harder to push and pull than the Dyson was. It is not overly loud but when you turn it on you can really hear how more powerful it is.
I did discover a problem with it however and it is with my shag rug. The Dyson has some very, very stiff brushes on its rollers which I think is one reason why it picks up hair so well. Well I have a red, shag rug in the middle of my room and I used the Dyson to vacuum it and the Dysona€™s stiff brushes managed to pull up lots of fibers from my shag rug. I have found I can vacuum without the brushes going so that maybe my solution for now.
