Esselte LabelWriter 400 Turbo Printer

First of all, for those who are confused by the Esselte, Dymo is one of their business segments, so I'd list this as a Dymo rather than Esselte since that is what is on the label printer.

It's easy as a snap to load, the print is high quality, and the turbo is reasonably fast. I do like this very much.

The only reason I gave it four rather than five stars is the associated software. It's not exactly intuitive, beyond the basic save and print. Adding logos becomes more challenging; I didn't like the outcome of my first "draft." The logo is fine. It's how the label printed that I didn't like, but it was difficult to get it to look right, so I eventually gave up and printed my lables without. A branding opportunity lost. Sure, I could contact customer service but who has tome to do that over an address label, and I felt I shouldn't have to.

There were other areas where trial and error were part of the job as well. Particularly exporting contact lists. I ended up losing the list, and will have to recompile all of those contacts.

Nutshell: great hardware; software needs definite improvement.
