The wheelman is most definately back

OK. First of all i wanted this game because i was a huge fan of the first one. However you don't need to have played the first one to be quickly wrapped up in this one. If you have a led foot in real life and the speeding tickets are starting to add up then there is a safer way to release all of that road rage.

Driver2 is a excellent purchase for anyone who likes a story line type game set behind a "gone in sixty seconds" genre of action. I was more than pleased with the game play, though it was slightly different. In Driver2 the story is set out for you. In the first you have some free choice in missions and action. Not that this is a bad thing.

i feel more involved in the story line in the second than the first. The cinema-graphics are cool as always and Tanner has officially become my alter-ego. In Driver 2 you can also get out of the car; to change cars, to fool the cops, or just to get a faster car.

If you haven't played the first one i would highly recommend it, not before you play Driver 2 but just sometime in your life. The two games offer the same goal in two slightly different formats. Other good sequel games to look into are Grand Turismo 1 & 2, Syphon Filter 1 & 2, Parasite Eve 1 & 2.
