Not a bad game, not a great game

I was pretty sure what to expect from this game: nothing special but nothing terrible. That's pretty much what I got, I guess I could say I was somewhat pleasantly suprised. This game is a straightforward shooter that doesn't really strive for greatness. Still, its a fun game.

Unfortuantely, it's a straight up shooter- all you do is kill monsters. It gets old after a while, sometimes not a very long while.

The ragdoll physics are totally unrealisitc and over the top, but that's a good thing. You'll see what I mean when you shoot an axe-weilding psycho and he flies 20 feet across the room and slams into the wall. There's just something satisfying when you shoot someone coming after you and they get blown back as if they'd just been hit by a semi-truck going 250 MPH.
