My advice, Don't buy a Dodge Neon

Date of Review:  Aug 27, 2003
The Bottom Line: Treat them like poison ivy, don't touch one
Review: My Neon has been a problem since the first week I brought it home. The chip went out on the key bob and it was in the shop for 9 days because they don't keep these in stock. The loaner car, was a heap, so dangerous I decided to not drive it. 2 weeks...

2002 Dodge Neon

Date of Review:  Sep 30, 2002
The Bottom Line: Great car overall.
Review: Have had the car a little over 2 weeks now. So far loving it. Drives well, and seats 3 in the back very comfortably. Has 2 inches more hip room in the back than most cars in its class. The only problem I am forseeing is the poor gas mileage. For...

The Bottom Line: For a fun, economical car, you can't go wrong, i liked the first one so much, i bought another one
Review: What can i say, i liked the Neon so much, i bought another ;)

my first Neon, a '98 Highline, gave me 120,000 miles of fun and spirited driving, and the only problem i ever had with it was the dreaded "headgasket issue", then again,...

Accidental purchase

Date of Review:  Mar 25, 2003
The Bottom Line: Affordable, dependable, if you can get past the name, it is a great car.
Review: Well to make a long story short, I was screwed out of a Jeep rubicon and had to purchase a NEON. I had only owned jeeps, so I wasn't thrilled. However, I have been pleasantly surprised with my new car. See pros above. Now I don't like the name much,...

2002 Dodge Neon- Still an excellent value.

Date of Review:  Jul 29, 2002
The Bottom Line: Adequate comfort, good performance, and a good warranty gives this car my recommendation.
Review: Despite the 1994-1998 models being somewhat unrefined and in some cases unreliable, the Dodge Neon has always been a bargain basement priced automobile that offered good performance, relatively good comfort at a very good price. The 2002 models are...

Date of Review:  Jul 7, 2002
The Bottom Line: Before you spend too much money on a car, consider this less expensive model.
Review: I was going to Miami and did not want to take my own car, so I rented and put the miles on someone else's 'ride.' Initially I was quite disappointed to find that I would be driving a Dodge Neon; this car would be my companion for thousands of miles...

Dodge Neon is a great value!!

Date of Review:  Oct 4, 2006
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this car to those who are on a tight budget who can't afford frequent repairs.
Review: My wife and I both bought Dodge Neon SXT in may of 2002. due to the fact that we both had different vehicles before, we had no idea what to expect, but for $0 down for both cars, it would have been difficult to pass up. Well, 4+ years later, we have...

2002 Dodge Neon SXT - Value

Date of Review:  Dec 12, 2002
The Bottom Line: Overall, the Neon is a great value and appears to be a very economical and fun car to drive. I would recommend.
Review: Overall Statement

This car has been in production since 1994. The 2000-2002 model year cars were virtually the same. The newer generation has completely won my attention.

Why I Bought a Neon
