Don't Dodge a Dodge!

When we were looking to purchase a new vehicle, we started out looking at automobiles, and then decided that they were not big enough for us anymore, two kids you know. We came around to the idea that a mini-van was what we should be looking at, and went with the Dodge Caravan because it has been around for so long and the frame and underneath parts are relatively unchanged over the last 11 years. We figured that while other manufacturers were always changing their models, that the Dodge would be relatively reliable because all the bugs had been worked out. Boy, were we right! This vehicle takes a beating. We have 72,000 miles on it and other than routine maintenance, it just keeps on going. It drives like a car, and is very smooth when accelerating. I notice this when the wife let's me drive. People who want dependability, and performance should consider the Caravan. We have been on several driving vacations with it and have been very, very happy with its performance. Other manufacturers are always trying to compare themselves to the Caravan, so there must be a reason for their concern. Could it be that it is hard to beat the King? Long live the King!
