2008 Dodge Avenger: different enough to succeed?

The Bottom Line: Take a look if you like the looks, but pay close attention to the seats.
Review: Being "different" has been a key part of Dodge's image. They even used "Dodge Different" as their tagline a few years ago.

But is different enough? The new for 2008 Dodge Avenger front-drive midsize sedan will be a good test. I test drove...

One relentlessly adequate transportation appliance

The Bottom Line: The Avenger SE is an acceptable transportation appliance suited for rental fleets. But if you like the way the Avenger looks, spring for the V6 engine to go with it.
