Dizzy up the Girl by The Goo Goo Dolls

I guess "Dizzy Up The Girl" by the Goo Goo Dolls just isn't my type of music.

After hearing my friend talk about how great it was, I bought it. Some of the songs on it are pretty good, like "Dizzy," "Slide," "Broadway," "Black Balloon," and "Iris." I dunno. Maybe it's just Johnny Rzeznik's voice. It's original and new, but just not to my liking.

Some of the songs get repetitive after a while. They get jumbled up in your head. "Black Balloon" is one of the only very distinct songs on this album.

This CD has enough great songs on it so it's not a total loss. If you liked the Goo Goo Dolls from previous albums or songs, then by all means, get this CD. I guess the Goo Goo Dolls aren't for everyone-- least of all, me.
