Just another Goo-ber

I had not purchased a "secular" CD in years, until now. I mostly listen to Christian music. But recently I have discovered the Goo Goo Dolls. Usually when I find something I like I jump right in head first. I just couldn't get enough. I have done my research on this band. What I found, impressed me. Besides his good looks, John Rzeznik, is a talented musician, singer and song writer. They stared out as a "punk" band and have evolved over the years. They have gotten alot of flack for the change. But they make no apologies for this change. I personally think it's great and I admire that. They hit big with songs like Name, Iris, Slide and the latest is Black Balloon. If you haven't heard any of these, crawl out from under that rock and take a listen. You won't regret it. I think they'll be around for a long time, at least I hope so.
