Great solution for hardwoods!

For years I've frustrated myself cleaning a house with ceramic floors and now one with over 1,500 square feet of hardwood. I've used several electric brooms, an indoor Shop-Vac, the "floor attachments" for the "big vacuum" and a plain old broom and dustpan. Everything had its drawbacks: electric brooms filled up too quickly and blew dog hair and dust bunnies around as it was pushed around the floor; the regular vacuum was just too clumsy; the old-fashioned broom just took WAY too much time. I ended up using the Shop-Vac the most often but it left that nasty "vacuum smell" in the air and was a HUGE mess to clean - had to take it outside. After reading the reviews here I decided the Breeze was worth a try. The bare floor attachment is great - it picks up everything it passes over without the annoying scattering effect of the electric broom. I only had to change the power cord to a new location once for the 1,500 square feet and there was no need to empty the receptacle until I was completely finished. I'm very happy with this vacuum . . . by the way I am vacuuming up the mess created by 4 dogs and 2 cats!
