An excellent product that 95% of people would like
Pros:
A portable, powerful vacuum with convenience and style at a great price.
Cons:
No drawbacks that I see. Just do not expect this to be your main vacuum.
The Bottom Line:
My only regret is that I did not find and purchase this product sooner. I strongly endorse it.

Author's Review
I had it in the back of my mind to get some sort of cordless, portable vacuum for little messes where only a vacuum would really do the trick after seeing how handy Dust Busters were. We got a Sears type that was part of a combo purchase (drill, flashlight). What a piece of trash. It would never run more than fifteen seconds before running down. Useless. The design was not all that great, either. I then looked at a Dirt Devil model as I heard good things about them, but never pulled the trigger. I'm glad that I waited. We saw the Kone in Sharper Image and really liked the features. It is an attractive package and the vacuum portion simply sets into the base while charging so it is always "ready to go." We bought it and could not be more pleased. It has very good power and I have never had it run down in the course of any cleaning task. It is just so doggone handy, I can't imagine anyone not being pleased with this unit, but some people are not happy with anything so for those 5%, don't bother. Even if you have the unit where it's not visible and you are not taking advantage of the style aspect of the Kone, the convenience of the unit can't be beat. Just snatch that baby out of the holder, vacuum up the mess, and put it back into the charger base. Wow, what did that take? 30 seconds out of your life? No cords or hoses or struggle. At $40, this is an A+ value.
