Good Unit for it's size
Pros:
small size
powerful
doubles as storage containers
Cons:
doesn't chop as great as it could.
The Bottom Line:
Highly recommended as I've had no issues with mine and I'm happy with my purchase. If you are looking for a mini food processor, then this isn't for you.

Author's Review
I bought my Magic Bullet at Target about 2 years ago and I love it.
I have read reviews, here and elsewhere where people have had the motors burn out, etc. I have not had that happen and the few people I've turned this on to, have not had this problem. Maybe it's a manufacturing issue that has been addressed by the company?
I like how the cups and lids can be used for storage as well. I love the cups themselves, as you mix and drink in the same container. Less clean-up! Speaking of cleaning up, I find it be extremely simple to rinse/wash.
I use my Bullet daily for smoothies, but I've used it to make tuna, muffin mix, frozen drinks, whipped cream, and semi-successfully to chop onions, carrots, green peppers, etc. I say "semi-successfully" due to the fact that yes, it does chop (not great, have to pulse VERY carefully) but it doesn't produce uniform pieces. So you get some very large pieces and some very small.
In my opinion this is a blender that can be left out and used daily for quick mixing jobs. Whip up your eggs for . omelettes! It makes them EXTRA fluffy (if you like them that way).
All in all, I am very happy with my purchase. I am careful with the chopping aspect as I stated. It is used daily, it's a great size for leaving out on the counter-top as well..it honestly doesn't take up any space at all.
I have had to replace the rubber gasket once (with a spare that came with the set). My blades have stayed super sharp, no issues there. My covers still screw on tightly, after almost daily use for 2 years now. My motor smelled a bit the first few times I used the unit, but haven't had any issues since.
To me, this is much better than dragging out a big blender or smoothie maker every morning. I just throw in my frozen fruit, yogurt, juice and go! Couldn't be simpler.
