Author's Review
Dino Crisis sounds like a goofy title, but there's nothing to laugh about. This game is the way all the other Jurassic Park games should have been made, with blood and all. The objective of this game is to locate a scientist who was thought to be dead, but found reports of him still doing experiments on a secret island. So the send in a group of officers to the island to arrest the scientist, untill they uncover some shocking revelations.
In the game, you assume the role of Regina, a red-headed woman investigating what is going on. As you find you're way through the island, she notices that there's shredded fences, broken windows, and trails of blood, everywhere. Not untill she gets into the building, that she encounters what has been killing the employees. I don't want to give too much away, because the you wouldn't want to try this game.
The perspecitve you play the game in is a lot like Resident Evil, which is good and bad. Good, having a nicer resolution and cleaner graphics, and the bad being that it hampers the control.
Graphically, this game looks great. All the thrill of being chased by dinosaurs, and discovering new paths is captured nicely. The game has a haunting soundtrack when it's appropriate, and the voices for the charectars are the best i've seen for a game in a long time. The control is a lot like RE, so if you've played the RE games, you know what to expect. The game does take some getting used to.
Overall, this game should delight many people who want a good scare, or for that matter, a good game to be involved in.
