Author's Review
I've learned that it doesn't take a lot of sugar to make
a really sweet meal. As a Type II Diabetic with a husband
and 3 small sons it's very hard to make food that is good
for them, good for me, and also tastes good.
After 3 long months I was on the verge of giving it up, until
I subscribed to Diabetic Cooking Magazine.
This magazine is full of useful hints, tips, and recipes that
are down right, home style delicious. I would recommend this
magazine to not only diabetics, but to everyone who enjoys
a truly good meal.
However, and this is a big down side, Diabetic Cooking Magazine,
in my ever so humble opinion, is not for those who are short on
time. I have found, personally, that the meals are creative and
extremely delicious, but that many, or most of them, require a lot
of effort, special ingredients, and / or extensive prep time.
Now, as a working mom, this is a tough one for me. I try to stick
with those recipes utilizing basic ingredients, those that I already
have around, and those that require less time.
Over all, however, I recommend this magazine. It is worth the
money and the time it takes to look it over.
Here's wishing you great fun and great eating!
