A great product with Features that are priceless!

The Bottom Line: A great buy with tons of features and great sound!
This unit is remarkable. I recently upgraded to HD with a piece of junk H10 from Direct TV. If it were not for the audio delay feature, my HD experience would be horrible. The unit was easy to set up, the auto detect feature works great for all types of audio and video inputs, the sound is awesome and the warmer sound really tones down the brightness of my Klipsch Flagship Reference Series. These are very efficient speakers and this receiver has no problem raising the dB level.
I would have liked hmdi switching but was unwilling to pay the asking price for the 5805. The remote sucks and can not be read during daylight hours. Use a Harmony 688 instead.
Plenty of inputs and outputs for audio and video and even includes 12V triggers for a projector screen or automated curtains.
I have yet to encounter a problem with synching the audio via digital inputs like I did with my old Technics unit.
The video switching is effortless and without issues. Biamping the front speakers is also an option and can deliver 240 watts per channel to the front speakers!
You will not regret the purchase of this unit. Separates are the only possible alternative to achieve better sound, in my opinion.
