Disappointed!

I purchased this ice cream machine online. When it arrived, there were no papers, no instruction book.. nothing. I called the company and have to admit that the person I spoke to was very pleasant and helpful. About a week later I had the instruction book and finally able to make some ice cream. The Machine was very noisy. The bowl never got COLD, the machine was hot.. and at the end of the time, the mixture was like melted ice cream. Was the mixture bad? I tried again with a different mixture. Same results. Ended up returning the machine for credit.
