Pros:
Many great channels to chose from, live radio pause, memory, favorite band prompt.
Cons:
Antenna very touchy. Remote not very effective. Unit difficult to get out of boombox cradle.
The Bottom Line:
This is a definite must for those who enjoy music outside the mainstream or live in an area with extremely bad FM channels.

I live in an area completely devoid of decent FM radio stations. This was a godsend for me and my eclectic taste in music. So many channels to choose from, but like satellite tv you will eventually find your favorites.
I got the XMSkyFi2 with the boombox (not the cd boombox). I use it every day at the office. Have not tried it in the car yet as I don't have the car kit and not wanting to pay $50 or more for it.
Great things about it include the many memory presets (30), the fact you can save songs in memory to retrieve the information later (like if you hear a band you like but don't have a pen and paper to write it down). You can also program your favorite artist or song and the XM will prompt you if they are playing on another channel and then you can tune it in if you want. Oh yeah, you can also pause live radio. It's just like TiVo. I only wish you could record stuff, maybe in the future.
The only bummer about my XM is that the "antenna" is very touchy. You have to have it in just the right place and if anything blocks it your signal is lost.
