An asset to the kitchen

Date of Review:  Aug 10, 2002
The Bottom Line: Glad to have this as part of my kitchen tool kit. It works really well and adds a new dimension to my cooking
Review: This is a good kitchen tool. I'm glad I bought it but I must admit I'm just learning what to cook and not cook in it. Being vegetarian I really wanted to make deep fried tofu but learned you need to use the kind that's extra firm or you need to dry...

Dont buy this!!!

Date of Review:  Jul 8, 2003
The Bottom Line: Not only did the fryer fall apart after 10 uses and had to be thrown out, Delonghi never returned my email or letter about the problem.
Review: The fryer was cool to the touch and does have a nice look to it. When it worked it did fry food very well. However the pro's do not out way the cons in this particular case.

The fryer made a terrible mess with the oil which caused long...

High Maintenance Costs!

Date of Review:  Jan 2, 2004
Review: Although DeLonghi makes a good deep fryer, please consider the cost of replacement filters before you buy. DeLonghi replacement filters do not last very long and they are not easy to find. If you buy them directly from DeLonghi America, one pack of...

Not as great as I thought

Date of Review:  Mar 30, 2005
Review: Deep fryer worked great for about one year. Now it will not heat the oil. It was not worth the price I paid.

FROM THE FRYING PAN INTO THE .... WELL, CERTAINLY NOT THE FIRE!

Date of Review:  Jun 18, 2004
The Bottom Line: It really makes frying easier and cleaner. What a thrill to cook things and get them done right the first time and every time!
Review: The deep fryer I had was already hitting its 10 birthday. Yes it still worked, but it looked like it was 10 years old. I felt I was ready for a new one.

With so many on the market, I wanted one that would make my life easier but did such a...

Give Me A Skillet--Please!

Date of Review:  Jan 19, 2002
The Bottom Line: If you can't spell s-k-i-l-l-e-t, and can't stand the lingering smells in your kitchen--then buy it. Otherwise, just take out the old cast iron skillet and go for it.
Review: I read the reviews...I bought the deep fryer...It rotated for my first batch of chicken...then stopped! Now, while the fryer is cooling off (so I can drain the oil)--so am I (cooling off, that is).

I'm a southern girl who can fry some...

~~ DO YOU WANT FRIES WITH YOUR DELONGHI COOL TOUCH ROTO DEEP FRYER? ~~

Date of Review:  Jan 26, 2008
The Bottom Line: If you must fry, do it the healthy way!
Review: Normally, I am on a fried food ban...I hate feeling sluggish and unhealthy, but after trying french fries at one of my friends home with the DeLonghi Cool Touch Roto Deep Fryer, I decided to buy one of my own! My kids love fried food, but I do...

Rotate the oil Away

Date of Review:  Jan 25, 2000
Review: I have one of the first De Longhi rotating deep fryers. It is one of the best small appliances I own. It is very convenient and so easy to use with little or no mess what so ever. It is great for a small amount of food or cooking in great...

I Now Have A Fighting Chance To Fry Like The Pros

Date of Review:  Oct 31, 2000
Review: I consider myself somewhat skilled in the area of cooking, except when it comes to frying things. Frying foods (by some considered to be one of the easiest methods of cooking aside from boiling hotdogs or eggs) has always brought me to my knees.

Best fryer I've ever had.

Date of Review:  Feb 19, 2000
Review: I bought a model of the rotary fryer a number of years ago because it was a rotary and I do quite a bit of frying. It seems that there is a lot less grease absorption by the fried food. It cooks fast and evenly, which is great since I always seem to...
