After a fire in our home...

We had a fire in our home 6 years ago because my husband left a pan of grease on the stove and went out. We lost nearly everything. A grease fire is devistating even if it doesn't leave the kitchen because it smokes for a long time before igniting.

When we bought our new house, on of our first purchases was this deep fryer. I'll never own another and as a matter of fact just last month bought a new one.

It uses half the oil because when you lower the basket, it's at an angle and spins so only half the oil is needed. The spinning makes food cook more evenly and not stick together. The fryer stays cool to the touch and since it's sealed while cooking it lets off less steam (grease!) which gets all over your house. No splatters either! I love this deep fryer and wouldn't buy any thing else!

This newer one I just bought also cleans easier than my last one. It has a drain tube so you don't have to tip the unit to dump the grease which was previously a pretty messy job.

Well worth the money! I got 5 years out of my last one, so that boiled down to $25 a year. (they've gone up of course in 5 years, I paid $125 for my first, and $150 for this one.)
