Pros: Fast, huge, excellent sound and display, Good desktop replacement. Best warranty service I've ever experienced.
Cons: Huge, Heavy
The Bottom Line: Well worth every penny. It may be heavy, but its speed and power make up for it over and over again!
Review: As I an architecture student, I needed a powerful desktop replacement that could provide amazing power, while still being somewhat portable. Luckily, as it was to be a gift, I was able to get everything I needed, and not skimp as a typical student ...

Pros: Great performance, Beautiful screen, Eye-pleasing design, Easily accessible upgrade ports
Cons: Heavy, short battery life, Crunched keyboard, Typical Dell fluff
The Bottom Line: Dell may have let this one slip through the cracks with a package that is quite as capable as its baseline XPS offering.
Review: The Dell Inspiron 9400/E1705 offers a potent mix of power and performance in a nicely-wrapped well-priced package. Dell Inspiron 9400 At a Glance Processor = 5.0 The Core 2 Duo is currently the best processor on the market. Its ...

Pros: Graphics are a beauty, Extemely fast, loads of I/O ports
Cons: heavy, but expected from a 17 inch laptop, predorminantly same design as the Inspiron 6000.
The Bottom Line: With outstanding performance, excellent graphics and neat design it makes an excellent home laptop and a desktop replacement. Its weight restricts mobility
Review: DELL Inspiron E1705: Inspiron Series: The Inspiron series was designed for the hip, new generation users as well as for the high-end power users. It showcases stylish design and a great price, unlike the Latitudes which are usually ...

Pros: Superb speed, appearance, ease of storage, media capabilities, graphics and vivid color. Excellent customer support.
Cons: Touch mouse took some getting used to. Other than that, nothing!
The Bottom Line: Sharp pictures and clear sound for the ultimate gaming, graphics, and music experience. Lightweight, easy to store, use, and affordable price.
Review: Sleek, reliable, powerful - money well spent! The price was right, too. It was a 2007 New Year's Resolution to buy a Dell laptop because I am an on-line instructor. I must have reliable technology in order to do my job, so this isn't the area to cut ...

The Bottom Line: This machine is exactly what is advertised. With a beautiful display, fast accessible hard drive and memory along with multi-tasking ability this laptop is a great buy.
Review: The hard drive in my family desktop computer decided it was time to say goodbye to this world so I thought now would be a good time to upgrade and invest in my own computer, preferably a laptop with the power of a desktop. This way my dad can use the ...

Pros: Price, Features, Design, Plenty of Ports, 17" Screen, Weight, design.
Cons: Have to find special accessories for 17" Screen, Otherwise none.
The Bottom Line: This is the best computer for the money, It gets everything done with speed. It handles everything that I throw at it.
Review: Over the last year I have had 8 computers and have not been satified with any of them. I was good with my Imac G5 but when dual core came out I wanted that. I was going to get a imac Dual Core but they were a little expensive for a non-laptop, so I ...

Pros: Great monitor. Wireless works flawlessly with standard wifi card.
Cons: A bit heavy. Standard battery only lasts 2.5 hours on a full charge.
The Bottom Line: I definitely recommend this laptop for the small business user that needs basic computing functions with the ability to multi-task at a high level.
Review: My wife and I run an ebay powerseller store and recently found the need to move to a wireless solution for the home. At first we thought that we would only use the laptop to sit in front of the tv and not do any actual powerful work on it. However, this ...

Pros: performance, performance, performance.
Cons: plastic casing. This is one huge, thick laptop.
The Bottom Line: Price wise, you can't go wrong here. And you definitely will notice a performance boost during multitasking
Review: Important note: The performance here is based on personal experience with other laptops, ACER 3003 (AMD 3000), Toshiba Satellite 5105-S501 (P4M 1.7 Ghz), and is based on my personal usage and NOT base on any performance utility. Judging by the ...
