Pros: FAST, price, crisp screen, speakers, quiet, FAST
Cons: preloaded software, screen viewing angle, *slight* flex in keyboard... nothing to make me regret purchase
The Bottom Line: It's all about value. While not quite perfect, this laptop is perfectly priced. Performance wise...it's amazing. I would buy again if I needed another.
Review: After months of shopping around I finally picked up this Dell e1505, and I am VERY pleased with it. It's not perfect, but for the money I paid I couldn't ask more. I'm a senior engineering student who plays a few 3D games, does video edited and encoding, ...

Pros: Brilliant LCD screen, Super fast performance, cool design. DVD/CDs play without the laptop being ON
Cons: It is on the heavier side, Battery is not stellar.
The Bottom Line: The performance is excellent on benchmark tests, the LCD screen is outstanding. All this performance at Dell's low prices, it just might be your BESTBUY.
Review: DELL Inspiron E1505: Inspiron Series: The Inspiron series was designed for the hip, new generation users as well as for the high-end power users. It showcases stylish design and a great price, unlike the Latitudes which are usually ...

Pros: Excellent price for a loaded system, speedy processor, great coupons and specials, upgradeable!!!
Cons: Service is Lacking and very poor Communication skills with Service Reps!!
The Bottom Line: You will not find a better system for a lower price. If you are willing to jump through some hoops with tech support, it's OK.
Review: I purchased the Inspiron E1505, otherwise known as the 6400 if purchased through Dell Small Business, in April 2006. I purchased the following configuration: 1.66 GHz T2300 Dual Core Processor 1 GB Ram at 667 MHz Dual Channel 15.4" Widescreen LCD ...

Pros: Dual core CPU, decent GPU, long battery life, great build quality, bright screen
Cons: Some light leakage, some screen glare
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this laptop to people who want to multitask and play some 3d games without paying too much for it.
Review: While shopping around for a laptop to replace my Toshiba a45, the Dell e1505 seemed like a good fit. I wanted dedicated graphics however, at first the Dell did not offer that. But after a few weeks that became an option. I have looked at many ...

Pros: Gorgeous video & audio output, Easy to use multimedia controls, Excellent speed
Cons: No crash recovery CD, Too many useless trial softwares pre-bundled
The Bottom Line: Worth investing if you intend to use it for some years to come and would be doing things like movies, intensive processing (Excel solver?), surfing, etc.
Review: I bought this laptop for my 4 months ago as she was preparing to go for her Master's in Applied Comp. Science program. She needed a laptop which would be able to take all the flogging such a university program inflicts on a laptop's capacity and yet be ...

Pros: Ease of use, good wireless, good battery life, plenty of external ports, light, dependable.
Cons: Screen is hard to see outside in bright light
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this laptop because it's fast, dependable, sturdy and has good battery performance and light enough to carry easily. Having two that perform flawlessly is proof of reliability.
Review: We have two of these, identical in every way even to the graphics cards and 1 gig of memory. We bought a refurbished one and liked it so much we ordered an identical one new. The only issue we had was one had a recalled battery that dell replaced at no ...

Review: I got the E1505 right when it came out. You didn't see it advertised on TV yet because Dell had just started offering it. I loved the look of it and one of the things that appealed to me was that base price. The base price was a handsome 400 and ...

Pros: High-quality, good price
Cons: No camera, low battery life, bulky
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this for a student or a family computer because it is large and not easy to carry around, but gets most jobs done easily.

Pros: The large screen, light weight, duel core processor and media direct buttons are great!
Cons: The over two week wait and 8 week $250 mail in rebate wait are cons.
The Bottom Line: This notebook is a light weight, powerful, attractive, affordable custom build machine that performs beyond my expectations, especially in context of replacing my 2001 Sony Vaio PCG-FXA36.
Review: I recently bought a Dell Inspiron E1505 to replace my Sony Vaio that I bought back in 2001. This notebook is awesome. It has an Intel duel core processor, and there is a huge noticable difference between this computer's speed and multitasking ...
