W3000 w/o DVI-HDCP capable

Pros: Fast delivery.

Cons: DVI w/o HDCP limits. Must use analog connections.

I recently purchased. It was packaged with Samsung HD841 DVD player. The connection for DVI cable on the TV is not capable of accepting HDCP feed. So the free DVD player does not work with the TV using the DVI cable, unless you are playing a DVD that is not HDCP encoded. We have a BBC disc that plays via the DVI, and I believe the picture is stunning. The problem is only one DVD gets to use this purely digital connection. Set top box (STB) will have to go analog out rather than DVI due to the silly oversite by DELL.
