We bought the Dell 1815 Laser Printer for our small office. We wanted a combination printer, fax, scanner, copier.
The Dell 1815 Laser Printer is very attractive; that is probably what sold us. It fits nicely into our office and looks impressive without taking up too much space. It does a good job storing fax numbers, and the scanner feature has been pretty easy to figure out and use.
The down side is the warming up. This Dell has to warm up before every operation, if it has rested for more than a couple minutes. Because we are not continuosly printing, copying, or faxing throughout the day, we have to wait for the Dell to "warm up" every time we want to use it. It takes a good 30 to 60 seconds to warm up. That means every time I want to make a copy or send a fax, I have to wait an extra minute before I can do so. Talk about frustrating!

We loved the looks of this unit, but hate the wait time. Also, it is pretty expensive to buy ink ofr, and it uses it fast!
