Major Upgrade

The Bottom Line: Despite a couple features that would be nice to have, this monitor is an excellent choice if you are in the market for a monitor of this size.

Don't buy this monitor - manufacturing defects

Review: I bought this monitor from Dell's website. The monitor
worked for 2 days before it became unusable (the images
became completely garbled on the screen). Dell agreed
to replace the monitor after I called up over the phone.

Love/Hate relationship defined

The Bottom Line: Recent 22" releases are WAY more affordable but if you have the cash, this is THE 24" LCD to have. Wonderful quality.
Review: I ordered my 24" Dell LCD (2407 FPW rev. 3) in August of 2006. I was quite pleased to receive the REV 3 model (noted on the sticker outside the box) since I'd read about issues online with prior revisions.

I use my monitor for everything...

No Regrets Here

The Bottom Line: I would recommend it to a friend. I believe Dell has minimized or eliminated the noise issue in the most current version. For the price, the picture quality is outstanding.
Review: I'm a gamer and was looking to upgrade from a 19in CRT to a widescreen LCD. I also wanted a widescreen to make it easier to bring work home and be more productive. Everything I read about the older 24in Dells told me to stay away due to noise...
