Good printer and scanner for the price

I got my dell all in one A940 printer when i bought my new dell printer about 1.5 years ago.

So far i have really enjoyed this printer. it has served all of my printing needs for both school and leisure.

I have used the scanner to scan some of my favorite picures from vacations and have printed some out. The quality is just as good compared to when i used to go to walmart for it. I also use the scanner to scan important documents that i need copys of. They come out great and better than the .20$ per page i used to pay.

This printer was extremly easy to install. The driver was already installed by dell. all i had to do was pay extra for a cable and hook it up. Then it was all ready to go.

As for problems with this printer. i have had one. At one time it was not printing any color in any way shape or form. The color cartarige still said it had half left and that seemed about right because we did not use it enough to be totally gone. i called the dell customer service. And they were of absolutly no help. They brought me through basic steps that i already did once before calling them. At one point they said they had the problem fixed in there bad english. And i was like no, have you been listening nothing is fixed. They left the phone call with well you will have to buy a new printer or new cartrige. i asked them if i could use an old color cartrige i had to see if it would still work (to get some color). they said no will do no good. i tried it anyway and it worked. so i bought a new color cartrige and had no problems scince. so the problem actually was a defective cartrige...which should not be a problem at the price you pay for them.

But besides that one problem i have enjoyed my dell all in one printer. even though it is on the large side but luckly i have enough room for it.
