Load up the Sony Playstation

I was in the local liquor store one night,looking for something a little different. My wife and I were having friends over and I was picking up the white wine I knew the ladies always wanted. I knew the ladies would go off into there own little world of talking (gossip) and the guys would head out as soon as possible for the family room to play on the Sony Playstation. So I wanted something that would be a little fun to drink.

The owner of the liquor store recommended DeKuyper Sour Apple Pucker Schnapps. Said to chill it and just serve it in a shot glass. I must say it made for an interesting time on the Playstation after awhile. You really have to watch how much you drink of this because it is more like drinking Kool-Aid, then a Schnapps.

The taste of it is just as you would imagine. Sour green apple. It reminded me very much of a green apple jolly rancher, in liquid form. Is it a sophisticated drink? No. Would you serve it with dinner? No, unless you were have pretzels and potato chips for dinner. But it is a great drink when you just plan on having friends over for a night of fun and games. I have seen where you can use it in different mixed drinks for a new taste. I have yet to try it any other way then straight.

Ok, now for my new recipe.

SOUR CARMEL APPLE SHAKE
One cup of DeKuyper Sour Apple Pucker Schnapps
One cup of milk.
Four cups of caramel ice cream.
Mix it all in a blender until it hits a consistency that you approve of.
