Pros:  Yummy fruit flavor, tart and sweet! Inexpensive too!

Cons:  Don't purchase if you don't like fruity liquors.

Overall Rating: 5/5 stars

Author's Review

I like trying new things, so when I was browsing through my local liquor store last weekend, I happened across a bottle of Green Apple Pucker Schnapps. (I also picked up a bottle of the Watermelon flavor).

The first thing I noticed when I opened the bottle was the heavenly smell of green apples. It smelled almost like a green apple jolly rancher. I poured myself a shot and the taste was identical to a jolly rancher with a little bit more kick to it. And yes, I did pucker when it went down. This liquor is finely tart. It's excellent served as a chilled shot, or mixed with 7-up and ice.

The watermelon flavor is a lot more tart then the green apple flavor. There's quite a bit of sourness to the taste, but still yummy! This too makes a fantastic mixer with 7-up. For a little bit more kick, throw in a shot of vodka into the cocktail and you're good to go for the night.

If you don't like sweet, tart liquors, stay away from this. You won't like it! If you like plain shots, or a mixer, pucker might be just what you're looking for!

The 750ml bottles cost $7.50 here in Buffalo.
