~*~BEST HOT WINTER DRINK KNOWN TO MAN~*~ recipe included

It was a cold winter night, my friend Jennifer shows up at our door with a bottle of DeKuyper Butter Shots, whipped cream, hot chocolate and a movie. That night she showed me one of the best tasting winter "hot" drinks I have ever had. On the back of the Butter Shots bottle is a recipe called "Hot Shots" You bring water to a boil to make the hot chocolate, then you pour 2 ozs. of Butter Shots Schnapps into an 8 oz. mug and fill with hot chocolate. You then put whipped cream on top and enjoy. This recipe is my absolute favorite for a drink on a cold night. The Butter Shots gives the hot chocolate a butterscotch flavor, that tastes like candy, not alcohol. So be careful, you could over due it without realizing it. My husband decided to cut us off when the giggles got a little out of control. Thank God Jennifer only lived 2 doors down so she didn't have to drive home. (Not that I would have let her.)
THE TASTE
Buttershots reminds me of thoes Butterscotch candies. It has a sweet taste to it, and I am not a big alcohol drinker, so I don't like to take straight shots, but mixed in something is ok with me.
THE SMELL
Butter Shots has a strong butterscotch sweet smell. Its one of thoes things that you can smell and it reminds you of your childhood, sitting on the front porch sucking on the butterscotch candy in the clear plastic wrappers.
I have since introduced this drink to my bunko group and they love it, nothing like gambling and drinking...LOL (just kidding)
My next venture with Butter Shots is coming up with a cake recipe with Butter Shots in it, when I get it figured out, I will have to write and opinion on it and share my recipe with all of you.
