Taste+E = TASTY!
Date of Review: May 15, 2000
Well, normally I'm not too big a fan of alcohol. I've tasted a lot of different stuff once, and decided it was bad. Anything I've had more than once is something I'm willing to recommend. Butter Shots falls into the category of recommendable.
I first taste this when a friend of mine who is much more a liquor connoseiur than I brought it down for a party. He had a bunch of strange bottles, some good, some not-so-good. This fell into the "good" category.
It's got a smooth taste, like one of those Brach's Butterscotch Discs, except you won't cut your tongue on it. It goes down really easy, and isn't too strong, so people like me who like drinks that don't "hit back" will enjoy this.
It's taste will overwhelm nearly everything else, so unless you like butterscotch, you probably don't want to mix this with anything else, or else you won't be able to taste the other ingredients very much, if at all.
Bottom line, a tasty butterscotch shot that is cheap, and doesn't have a lot of kick. Good for the social drinker who doesn't want to get smashed.
