Whooohoooo No Dragging!!

The hunt still goes on even after the season is over. But this time, NO DRAGGING REQUIRED!

This is a game that our whole family enjoys, if we can ever get it away from dad. This man eats, sleeps and dreams deer hunting.

We played the original game at his parents house and loved it so much we decided to get one for ourselves. But only this time we got the Deer Hunter II and WOW the graphics are awesome.

1. First of all you have to choose a hunter from the hunter screen each have their own weapon properties, a hunting statistic on that particular hunter and a trophy room. This can be done by creating a new hunter or selecting a hunter that is already created.

2. Then from the hunting lodge you choose what weapons you want to use and what accessories you want to bring with you on your hunt. Then you can check whether or not you want to hunt in rut or not.

3. Now you need to choose what hunting area you would like to hunt in from the map of US. Now you need to choose what time of day you would like to hunt in, and what behavior you want to see the deer in.

4. Don't forget to sight your weapon in at the target range just like you would in a real life hunt.

You will be looking through the eyes of the hunter when the game graphics are loaded (full installation is preferred because minimum installation will take a little longer). Everything is 3D so you feel like you are actually walking around the terrain. Snow crunches like snow and you can hear the trees rustling and birds chirping. You can even hear when the dear comes through the snow or through the grass.

Now you are ready to go hunting, only this time you don't have to drive hours to get there, or pack a lunch (ok, maybe pack a lunch so you don't have to leave the game).

Best and most important for me is there is no gutting, dragging, and packaging to do. Leave the hard work for hunting season.

And for $14.99 you can't beat year round hunting.
