As Paris Hilton would say: "That's Hot"

This heater is perfect for the cold months. It helps cut down on my gas heat(ouch) and doesn't look too bad in the process. The construction of the unit is the most durable of any heater I have seen. It comes with the standard 4 wheels to allow for rolling. This heater does what it is supposed to do. Plain and simple
In one hour, the Delonghi raised my temperature in the living room from 65 to 70. This was after one hour in a
15 x 16 ft. room with 9 ft. ceilings. It was placed about 7 ft. away from the thermostat. As with all oil-filled heaters, it takes a few hours to evenly heat the entire room. But they are more energy efficient, while not producing a dry-like heat.
The timer function on this model is also very useful. There are small pins on a circle timer that represent 15 minute increments. Just move them up and down to turn your heat on and off automatically. The timer obviously shuts off when the unit is unplugged. I have heard some people complain of the small ticking noise on the timer. I put my ear up to it and can barely hear anything. You would have to be in a completely silent room, have perfect hearing, and be sleeping 6 inches from the heater to be annoyed by this. I didn't even know anything about it until I read a few reviews.
If you need an affordable oil-filled heater, choose this one. It is far superior to my other Honeywell heater of the same size. Delonghi made a great product.
