I had high hopes for DeLonghi DDE400 Dehumidifier. Two years it worked fine in my cool basement. Third year it started freezing up - formed ice and kept building ice. With only one year warranty and very few service centers, it was worthless. Do not buy any dehumidifier without 5 year warranty. See for example, new LG models and Fedders models, have 5 year warranty.
