The efficiency of a front loader for a fraction of the cost.

The Bottom Line: If you want a high-efficiency washer without a high price, and don't mind getting your hands wet, buy it. If you prefer an automatic cycle, see the other Danbys.
Review: I've been using the Danby DTT-420 for over a month now, and I'm delighted. Unlike the previous reviewer, I think this is an excellent machine, as long as you're willing to learn how to make the best use of its design.

good except for the little things

The Bottom Line: Worth it for the savings in electricity and water.
Review: I have had my Danby Twin Tub washer for nearly two years. I like it much better than my big automatic washers, with their pump problems and lame spin cycles. My Danby uses much less water and the extractor does a much better job than the spin cycle...

The Bottom Line: If finances allow and you hate the laundrymat, I'd highly recommend. It's convenient and works great.

Great Washer for a Certain Type of Person

The washer that needs a babysitter

The Bottom Line: Good if you are very short on space. Not a good value for the money at all.
Review: Got this yesterday, and somewhat disappointed. I assumed it would act like every other washer I have seen, i.e. more or less fully automatic. I was wrong. Here is the process:

Review: I went to the laundramat for 12 years and wish I found this sooner. Its light and was carried upstairs easily by 2 women. Hooked right up to the sink, washes well and the spinner gets clothes really dry. I use a rack and air dry.
