READ THIS !!!! AN OBJECTIVE OPINION !
Pros:
It cleans and sanitizes marvellously! Uses very little water! No leaks!
Cons:
Noisier than a Miele dishwasher, which is equivalent to a "Mercedes" brand!
The Bottom Line:
BUY IT! It's HALF PRICE of what I paid 8 years ago! It's enough for 3-4 people. It's solid, very efficient, uses very little water, does a great job!

Author's Review
We are a family of 3. I bought Danby countertop dishwasher back in 2000 and I am still using it. It only had one minor repair: replaced the spraying arm ($20), because the plastic underneath cracked. About 2 years ago, I replaced the rack, as the original one started to look old, with some spots of rust where the white coating cracked. The diswasher has two options: 1. boils the water during operation; 2. uses the hot tap water without boiling it (econo-mode). I normally use cycle 1. After the first month of usage, I expected my hydro bill to go higher, but - to my surprise - it was lower! Not a lot lower, but in terms of the cleaning quality, for the first time, my plates were shinny and squeeky clean! I really mean it! And I'm not paid by any manufacturer to do advertising!
As regards Customer Service: it was excellent. I simply called the number provided in the instructions manual and was given all necessary information and directions. The service centre was open even on Saturdays. There was no need to take the dishwasher with me, I just bought the part (spraying arm, rack). Any non-technical person can change the spraying arm - it must be screwed to the base, just a nut onto a bolt.
