I paid over $6,000 for a Dacor double electric oven and a separate warming drawer. I liked the fact that the display did not beep loudly like other brands. After installation in May, 2006 the oven worked like a dream for 2 weeks, then the touch-panel display developed streaks and lines in it, rendering it unreadable. After a 30 day wait for the part, the display was replaced. By June 12, 2006 the top oven went out saying U-60 Cooling Fan error and on June 14, 2006 the bottom oven said "L 60 cooling fan error" and completely shut down. A certified letter to the President of Dacor has gone unanswered as have all the e-mails I've sent. It is now Sept. 25, 2006 and a repairman finally came and "fixed" the ovens at 4:00 p.m. By 6:30 p.m. the same error messages were flashing and both ovens went out again. I'm still waiting for a response from Dacor about replacement parts. The design of the Dacor fits beautifully in my kitchen but it's of no use if I cannot even use the ovens. I would not buy Dacor again.
