Don Not Buy This Model

This was an expensive microwave oven -- over $400. Shortly after the warranty one year period ended, the touch pad started to flicker. However, the oven continued to work. At about two years, the touch pad went completely dark and nothing would work. I took the oven to a reliable repair shop, and after spending $150 for diagnosis, the additional amount they wanted for repair was $424 -- making the total repair $574 -- over $100 more than it cost. My old Amana lasted nearly 20 years. This model microwave oven is also very noisy. It also musically beeps when it finishes a cycle until you clear it or open the door. This can be very noisy. On the plus side, it has a nice look with a stainless steel front, and it easy to clean inside. It is large, and fit almost every pot that I put in. It also has a lot of power, which can be a negative it you are not used to that much power. But once you learn to use the power settings, this can be dealt with. But if the unit breaks down after only a few years, and then costs more to repair than it cost new, why buy it? No more Dacor for me!
