Ideal Tourist Camera with the underwater case

I bought this camera with the underwater case (DXG 308U). I wanted a digital that I could use boating and on vacation at the beach. I do miss an optical viewfinder when it's not in the waterproof case, especially in low light shots. Once it's in the case, the LCD viewer makes sense. At the beach I don't have to worry about water or sand getting in it. I haven't gone swimming or snorkeling with it yet, but I have dropped it in the surf... it's fine.

I use NiMH batteries, which last a LOT longer than alkaline. I've noticed that the first couple pictures are pretty slow to store, but the camera speeds up after that, with or without the flash. The fact that it takes the picture on release of the shutter button takes some getting used to. I think the small size (without the underwater case) makes this a great camera for a tourist.I carry it in a shirt pocket. Printed photos (Epson 4600) from my trips are impressive, up to 8x10.
