VORNADO COMPACT HEATER~~ It Is Winter Time Again

The Bottom Line: The Vornado DVTH Compact Heater is worth the money. It works great.
Do you have those little places in your home that just get colder than others? I know I do. I recently purchased the Vornado DVTH Compact Heater to sit under my computer desk. It works like a charm. It keeps me nice and warm while I am sitting here typing away.

This is such a nice little heater. The switch and display are on the top of the unit. Just press the button to change the settings.
For such a small unit, it puts out a good deal of heat. The output is regulated automatically depending on the setting that is applied. You simply set it at a temperature that is ideal for you and it does the rest.
It has three power settings for varying needs - low at 600 watts, medium at 900 watts, and high at 1500 watts. It also has a no-heat fan for warmer weather.
The heater oscillates to spread heat through out the room in no time at all. It uses a convex grill format to allow air to flow at its best.
It is also cool to the touch even when it has been running for a long time.
I enjoy the portability and compact size. You can move it anywhere. The cord is a generous length. It is great for those small places like apartments, trailers, dorm rooms, or basements. All you need is an electrical outlet. Although I wouldn't suggest placing it near water, but that goes without saying.
On a caution note, you should be careful not to allow small children too close to the unit. The slats are large enough to allow small fingers to get into.
Another great feature is the tilt switch. If the unit is accidentally knocked over, it automatically shuts off. I have knocked it over many times so it is great that it will turn itself over so that I can readjust it. It also shows its durability. It still works like new despite its many accidents. This feature also works if the unit overheats.
I purchased this heater for $99.98 through QVC which is more than I wanted to spend, but I had seen some great reviews at various places. So I took a chance and it worked. I am very happy with this heater fan.
