This Modem Dies - Here's How To Recover

The Bottom Line: It's not worth $1 to me. It does not operate as continuously as I need a cable modem to operate. It's that simple.
Review: I recently moved and this meant that I had to replace the cable modem I was borrowing. I own a DI-524 Wireless Router that has been functional if not completely delightful. Let's just say I've had even more horrifying experiences with other routers...

COMCAST CUSTOMERS: This modem IS NOT compatible w/ Comcast w/o reloading Firmware!

The Bottom Line: Everybody else's product IS compatible with Comcast without having to spend an hour attempting to (unsuccesfuly) reconfigure the modem's firmware! Get something- ANYTHING else. It is money well spent.
Review: First, let me say that I LIKE D-Link's products alot. Thier router configured itself even before the CD tray retracted! And thier KVM Switch is on par with units costing hundreds more!
